Bancon Homes Brings Christmas early to Eden development

Christmas came early at Bancon Homes’ Eden at Maidencraig development this week, when local school pupils entertained visitors and residents with festive songs.

The choir from nearby Fernielea School performed and visitors were treated to hot chocolate and mince pies in the show home.

Staff from Bancon Homes’ nominated charity, CLAN Cancer Support, sold Christmas cards, raffle tickets and gifts and its mascot Clancy made a special guest appearance.

Jo Skinner, Sales and Marketing Director at Bancon Homes, said: “We were delighted to bring some Christmas cheer to our Eden development and to welcome so many residents, parents and other visitors to hear the Fernielea School choir singing beautifully as they enjoyed some festive food and hot drinks.”

She added: “The residents who have already moved into Eden are reaping the benefits of being able to step outside into a stunning setting and enjoy living in the beautiful Den of Maidencraig, with cycle paths and walks literally on their doorstep.”

Steph Dowling, CLAN Cancer Support’s fundraising team manager, said: “CLAN was delighted to be involved in Bancon Homes’ coming event in the run up to Christmas.

“The support we have received from Bancon Homes as their nominated charity has been fantastic with staff and customers getting involved in so many great events and initiatives.”

Eden’s location off the A944 Aberdeen to Westhill road means it has already proved popular, with buyers keen to take advantage of its quiet rural setting yet easy access to the city centre.

The newest phase, The Reserve at Eden, offers a range of two, three and four-bedroom, energy efficient family homes, many of which have views over the nature reserve.

The earlier part of the development has a range of 1 and 2 bedroom villas remaining.
